Ready for a melt-in-your-mouth recipe? This one has it all. Chocolate….carmel….pecans….Yummy yummy in my tummy!
Ingredients: 1-14 oz package carmels, 3 T. water, 1 1/2 C. chopped pecans, 1 C. Rice Krispies, 3 C. chocolate chips, 1 1/2 tsp. shortening, cookie sheets, wax paper, and Pam SprayIn a large pan, melt carmels and water until smooth and completely melted and remove from heat.Stir in pecans.Stir in Rice Krispies.In another sauce pan, melt chocolate chips and shortening and stir until smooth and completely melted.Cover cookie sheets with waxed paper and spray generously with Pam. Scoop carmel mixture by teaspoonful onto waxed paper and chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes.When chilled, slide wax paper off cookie sheet onto table as shown. Cover cookie sheet with a new piece of wax paper.Dip each carmel candy into melted chocolate. Scoop the candy onto a fork and shake gently to remove the excess chocolate. Place on new wax paper covered cookie sheet.Chill in refrigerator until set. Store in an airtight container.Enjoy!
