Looking for a scrumptuous cold dessert to enjoy on a hot summer day? Might I suggest this delectable treat. What you’ll need:
Ice cream sandwiches,hot fudge,caramel,Oreos,and Cool Whip. (Sounds good already,doesn’t it?!)
Place one layer of ice cream sandwiches in 9×13 pan.
Spread half of the Cool Whip on top.
Spoon entire jar of hot fudge on top of Cool Whip. I used an ice cream scoop to keep the mess to a minimum.
Crumble 1 dozen Oreos and sprinkle on top of fudge.
Now comes my favorite part! Drizzle half of the caramel on the Oreos.
Place second layer of ice cream sandwiches on top. The pan starts to get pretty full at this point.
Spread the remaining Cool Whip on top.
Sprinkle 6 crumbled Oreos and drizzle second half of caramel on top. Now comes the hardest part of all–resist the urge to dig in immediately. It needs to freeze for at least 2 hours. Can be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw for 20 minutes before serving.
