Good Morning! Here is a delicious waffle to make your family on Saturday morning!Ingredients: 1/2 C. butter, 3 T. honey, 3/4 t. cinnamon, 1 C. chopped pecans, 1 roll or package sugar cookie dough, 2 eggs, 1 t. vanilla, 1 t. maple flavoring, 1/2 C. half and halfBeat butter, honey and cinnamon together and set aside. Cook pecans over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly browned.
In the mixer, beat cookie dough until broken up and smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, and maple. Beat until smooth. Slowly add half and half until smooth and thin.Stir in 1/2 cup pecans. Pour 1/3 cup batter into each waffle section. Oops! Don’t pour too much in! My waffles always overflow in my effort to make perfectly square waffles! Cook to golden brown (even if it overflows!).To serve, top each waffle with cinnamon honey butter and sprinkle with pecans.
