“Mom-myyyyyyyy!!!!!! I’m HUNG-GRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!”
Sound familiar? When it comes to lunch time, my kiddos always want the same thing. It’s tough to add in new types of food for them to try when they only want their “usual.” So it’s time to shake it up!Muffin Tin Lunches!!
A great idea found on pinterest. Kids think it is fun to eat food in a fun way–even if it is just a new plate. Using a muffin tin or even a mini muffin tin helps portion out the food and has cute little cups to use as dip for the carrots! Roll the deli meat–looks fun! Don’t forget each of the food groups and cut those bites into fingerfoods! We used grapes, rolled deli ham, krinkle cut carrots, Ranch dip, Goldfish crackers, rolled deli turkey, cubed cucumber, Teddy Grahams, Cars marshmallows, peanut butter as dip, and string cheese.Have fun making lunch fun for your kids! Get creative…do this for snack time, for dinner, for breakfast!
