Peeps Smores

Fall weather and S’mores go hand in hand.  Like peanut butter and jelly, bacon and eggs, and Tom and Jerry.  And, when you can make them even more festive by using Peeps, they are even better!  What you’ll need:

 

Peeps, graham crackers, and chocolate

 

Get your graham cracker and chocolate base ready.

 

Add a Peep.  (Or, roast a Peep over an open fire.)

 

Microwave for 20 or so seconds.  The Peep will expand.

I love Peeps.  My Dad taught me at an early age just how yummy they are.  And if they are stale and chewy–even better.  But, I realize this is an acquired taste.  People seem to love ‘em or hate ‘em.  I used to hide the Peeps stash my mom would send me in a care package in college from my friends.  But, they always seemed to find it and would enjoy blowing them up in the microwave.  (I have to admit, it’s pretty fun watching them blow up!)

Top with graham cracker and you’re all set.

The Peep is soft, the chocolate is melted, and it is SO delicous!  Enjoy!
