Snack Necklaces

Summertime is full of outings to the zoo,museum,park,petting zoo,and other fun places around town but I can always count on one phrase from my kiddos’mouths….”Mommy!  I’m hungry!!”  Before you head out to the zoo,start with this easy and fun craft!  Everyone has made cereal necklaces at school one time or another but why not at home?  All you need is yarn and your kids’favorite cereal!  Simply cut the yarn to the desired necklace length,thread the Froot Loops,Apple Jacks,or Cheerios onto the yarn,and tie a knot.

Now when your kids are hungry on your excursion,they can just eat their necklaces!
