More fun that may take a little more time in preparation like:

It is a perfect time in the summer to teach your kiddos how to care for those around them and to have mini service projects.  Here are a few ideas:

  • write letters to long distance family or friends
  • send a care package to a soldier/Marine (let me know if you need a name of a service member!)
  • visit a retirement village and chat with the elderly or make them a special craft
  • make cookies/crafts for a neighbor or friend
